We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Work Health and Safety (WHS) Inspector to join our team at Comcare. As a WHS Inspector, you will play a vital role in promoting a safe and healthy work environment by conducting inspections, investigations, and providing guidance to employers and workers.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong understanding of WHS legislation and regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders, including employers, workers, and government agencies, to identify and address WHS risks and hazards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct WHS inspections and investigations to identify and address hazards and risks
- Provide guidance and advice to employers and workers on WHS matters
- Develop and implement WHS programs and initiatives to promote a safe and healthy work environment
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address WHS risks and hazards
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Diploma of Government (Workplace Inspection) or equivalent qualification
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and regulations
