Home Care Assistant

As a Home Care Assistant at Australian Unity, you will play a vital role in supporting our aged care customers to live independently and remain within their own homes. Our team provides comprehensive home care services that cater to the unique needs of each individual, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and support.
About the Role:
- You will be responsible for delivering in-home support services, including personal care, help at home, transportation, and client awareness.
- Your duties may include assisting with personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, and meal preparation, as well as cleaning, laundry, and assisted dressing.
- You will also provide transportation to appointments, shopping, and social outings, while maintaining client records and communicating effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- You must have a minimum of 12 months experience in delivering Personal Care and/or hold a Certificate III in Individual Support.
- A current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle are essential.
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 is mandatory.
- You should be flexible to work rosters between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.
