Visual Communication Design Teacher

The role of a Visual Communication Design Teacher at this educational institution involves teaching senior students and actively engaging them in the learning process. The successful applicant will have relevant tertiary qualifications, Victorian Institute of Teachers registration, and a desire to teach and mentor.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver VCD curriculum for Years 11 & 12 students
  • Develop and implement innovative lesson plans to engage students
  • Mentor and support students in their creative endeavors
  • Assess student work and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to a collaborative school environment that fosters creativity and innovation

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification (e.g., Master of Teaching / Bachelor of Education / PGCE)
  • Victorian Institute of Teachers registration (or eligibility to gain)
  • Desire to teach senior students and actively engage them in the learning process
  • Working Rights for Australia (or eligibility to gain), including Skilled Migrant Visa and possible Working Holiday Maker visa
