The role is a part-time on-site Creative Arts Therapist position located in or around Werribee, VIC. The Creative Arts Therapist will provide therapeutic services using creative arts modalities such as music therapy, drama therapy, and art therapy. Day-to-day tasks include conducting individual therapy sessions, developing customised treatment plans, and maintaining detailed client records. The professional will work closely with clients to support their mental health and emotional well-being through creative expression.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Skills in Music Therapy, Drama Therapy, and Art Therapy
  • Experience in Creative Arts and the ability to integrate them into therapeutic practices
  • Understanding of Mental Health principles and practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • A degree or diploma in Creative Arts Therapies or a related field
  • Experience working with children, teens, and adults is highly beneficial
