Our team of experts is dedicated to providing high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients while ensuring the protection of the environment and cultural heritage. We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our Heritage team in Newcastle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver Aboriginal heritage projects throughout NSW, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Engage with clients to understand their project requirements and provide expert advice on heritage and archaeological matters.
  • Develop tailored solutions that meet client needs while adhering to regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Present technical findings and relay information to non-technical persons, including clients and community.
  • Conduct field surveys and investigations to document and assess cultural heritage and archaeological resources.
  • Evaluate the potential impacts of development projects on cultural heritage and archaeological resources.
Requirements
  • A degree in Cultural Heritage Management, Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience for the Principal role and 5+ years for the Senior role.
  • Preferably experience in a consultancy environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant State and Commonwealth heritage legislation and associated regulations and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate leadership experience, including project management and team coordination.
