We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Kayak Guide to join our team in this casual role. As a Guide, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests have a safe, educational, and memorable adventure while exploring the stunning landscapes of Freycinet National Park.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to share your passion for kayaking and the great outdoors with like-minded individuals. You will be responsible for conducting kayak tours, ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting kayak tours through Freycinet National Park
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of guests at all times
- Providing exceptional customer service and a memorable experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong experience and skills in conducting kayak adventure tours
- Sound knowledge of risk management practices
- A reputation for providing excellent customer service and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experience
- A vibrant attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
- Possession of a current Workplace 2 First Aid certificate / equivalent
- Possession of a current manual Motor Vehicle Drivers license
- Knowledge of Tasmania's natural and cultural history or ability to learn
- Problem solving skills including the ability to apply mathematical skills in a workplace context
- Possession of a current Tasmanian Work With Vulnerable People Card
- Qualification in Enclosed Sea Kayak Certification or A Sea Guide Certification or equivalent is highly desirable
