We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Kayak Guide to join our team in a casual role. As a Guide, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests have a safe, educational, and memorable adventure while exploring the stunning landscapes of Freycinet National Park.
ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:
- Conducting kayak adventure tours with a focus on guest safety and satisfaction
- Maintaining sound knowledge of risk management practices and applying them effectively
- Providing excellent customer service and delivering exceptional guest experience
- Working effectively as part of a busy team and contributing to a positive work environment
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong experience and skills in conducting kayak adventure tours
- Sound knowledge of risk management practices and ability to apply them effectively
- A reputation for providing excellent customer service and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experience
- A vibrant attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
- Possession of a current Workplace 2 First Aid certificate or equivalent
- Possession of a current manual Motor Vehicle Driver's license
- Knowledge of Tasmania's natural and cultural history or ability to learn
- Problem-solving skills including the ability to apply mathematical skills in a workplace context
- Possession of a current Tasmanian Work With Vulnerable People Card
- Qualification in Enclosed Sea Kayak Certification or A Sea Guide Certification or equivalent (highly desirable)
