Job Description

What you’ll do:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Kayak Guide to join our team in this casual role. As a Guide, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests have a safe, educational, and a memorable adventure while exploring the stunning landscapes of Freycinet National Park.

We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for Tasmania’s remote, wild places. 

What you’ll bring:   

Strong experience and skills in conducting kayak adventure tours Possess sound knowledge of risk management practices A reputation for providing excellent customer service and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experience A vibrant attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team Possession of a current Workplace 2 First Aid certificate / equivalent Possession of a current manual Motor Vehicle Drivers license Knowledge of Tasmania’s natural and cultural history or ability to learn Problem solving skills including the ability to apply mathematical skills in a workplace context​ Possession of a current Tasmanian Work With Vulnerable People Card Qualification in Enclosed Sea Kayak Certification or A Sea Guide Certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
