Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced project manager to lead the delivery of a complex construction project within a dynamic arts precinct.

As the primary point of contact, you will partner with stakeholders to develop robust project timelines that incorporate internal and external approval processes. You will oversee design approvals in line with precinct requirements, identify and mitigate risks to ensure streamlined project delivery, and maintain oversight on tenant authority applications.

You will also schedule works around precinct events and other concurrent projects, coordinate communications with tenants and stakeholders on project impacts, engage consultants as needed, liaise with the Design Excellence Committee and Heritage authorities for final approvals, and coordinate across internal and external stakeholders to manage and integrate project delivery milestones.

In this role, you will review contractor compliance, support tenants with traffic and pedestrian management planning, maintain essential services records, manage logistics for deliveries, storage, and movement within public areas, advise on engineering and load restrictions, support site administration, monitor site conditions, and support safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams, tenants, and contractors

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, construction, or a related field
  • 3+ years' experience in project coordination or management, preferably in a complex stakeholder management setting
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Monday or Jira
