Key Role

The Technical Delivery Manager role is a high-profile position that requires strong leadership and technical skills to drive successful project delivery.

This individual will work closely with stakeholders to gather, understand and validate project requirements for successful delivery. The role involves analysing and documenting system functional and non-functional requirements, as well as translating technical requirements into project delivery requirements.

This position will synthesise information from various sources, understand organisational objectives and coordinate business analysis activities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering strategic global programs/projects on time and in alignment with business outcomes;
  • Planning, controlling and managing the delivery of business and technology projects or IT components over the full project lifecycle;
  • Aligning project schedules with enterprise-level timelines and managing dependencies across portfolios;
  • Defining decision-making processes, influencing strategic decisions and driving outcomes;
  • Managing resources, resolving conflicts and optimising allocation to ensure efficient use of skills;
  • Evaluating aggregated risks and advising on mitigation strategies to ensure robust risk responses aligned with business objectives;
  • Applying appropriate project governance, managing quality and timeliness of deliverables and associated acceptance processes;
  • Influencing stakeholders and project-related communications and engagement activities;
  • Establishing advanced performance systems, providing high-level reports to executives and ensuring delivery of post-implementation reviews and health checks.
