About the role
We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Bariatric Ward on a part-time or full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role within a supportive team, delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:- Provide safe and evidence-based nursing care.
- Supervise and guide nursing team members.
- Educate and support patients in recovery, rehabilitation and end-of-life care.
- Lead quality improvement and safety initiatives.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
- Be a role model for safe practices.
- Maintain Authority to Work in Australia.
- Have at least 12 months experience as an RN in an acute setting.
- Hold a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification.
- Comply with ACQSHC National standards.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care.
- Showself-motivated teamwork skills.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exhibit a proactive, customer-focused approach.
