Job OpportunityWe are seeking a motivated, hardworking, and professional tradesperson to join our Engineering team at our modern, Gepps Cross manufacturing facility.
You will be given diverse scope to take on a variety of fabrication and assembly projects, including lathe and mill work, cutting, drilling, commissioning and installation of roll forming and other sheet metal equipment, fabrication and assembly of proprietary manufacturing equipment, welding and fabricating medium to heavy sub-structures and components, and assembly.
You will also be involved in R&D activities and adherence to Stratco's safety and associated policies and procedures.
About YouWe are looking for an individual with a passion for their profession, demonstrating the following skills and qualifications:
- Formal trade qualification in Fitting & Turning or Toolmaking.
- Experience in a toolroom environment.
- Commitment to producing quality products.
- Manual machining and fitting experience.
- Attention to detail and ability to creatively solve problems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work to high tolerances.
- Experience welding of different types.
