Fitter Machinist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Fitter Machinist to join our Engineering team at Stratco. As a Fitter Machinist, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling a variety of components and equipment, including lathe and mill work, cutting, drilling, and welding.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble components and equipment using lathe and mill work, cutting, drilling, and welding.
- Commission and install roll forming and other sheet metal equipment.
- Assist with R&D activities and adhere to Stratco's safety and associated policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Formal trade qualification in Fitting & Turning or Toolmaking.
- Experience in a toolroom environment.
- Commitment to producing quality products.
- Manual machining and fitting experience.
- Attention to detail and ability to creatively solve problems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work to high tolerances.
- Experience welding of different types.
