Generalist HR Professional

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a positive employee experience across all stages of the employee lifecycle on a major project.

The successful candidate will work closely with the wider People and Culture team to help deliver key initiatives across recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, industrial relations, and more.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop job advertisements and post roles online
  • Conduct initial phone screens with potential applicants
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates
  • Act as a point of contact for candidates throughout the process
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Business, Commerce, or Psychology, ideally with a focus on Human Resources (transcript and proof of graduation required)
  • Some professional experience in a People & Culture (HR) environment preferred
  • Understanding of HR best practices
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and awards (highly desirable)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn and develop generalist HR skills
  • Proactive attitude with the initiative to face challenges and contribute to solutions
