Job Role Overview:
The role of an Employment Consultant is pivotal in empowering job seekers to achieve work-readiness and secure sustainable employment.
Within this position, you will play a vital part in delivering Employment Services Programs from our national sites, with your base location being at one of our Milton offices. Our mission revolves around lifting people up, supporting them in their quest for employment, independence, and improved wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and identify suitable employment opportunities for job seekers
- Help job seekers recognize their skills and abilities to enhance employability
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both job seekers and employers
- Promote the capacity for employment among job seekers through training and support services
- Develop and implement joint job plans to facilitate a clear pathway to employment
- Foster relationships with local employers and community organizations
Essential Qualifications:
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A valid driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
- Willngness to undergo a Criminal History Check
- Ability to pass a Working with Children Check
- Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
