Job Title:

Senior UI Programmer

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated User Interface Programmer to join our team in Melbourne, Australia.

The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge engine technology, building user interfaces that complement the gameplay visuals and experience. They will collaborate with a small, experienced team to shape the UI of future games.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop UI features and systems with the lead engineer
  • Collaborate with UI designers to develop the user experience
  • Create and maintain technical design documents
  • Self-manage programming task schedule updates and coordinate with the production team
  • Review user interface and optimize performance and resource utilization

You Will Need:

  • A strong background in game development, particularly UI engineering for consoles and PC
  • Proficiency in C++
  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with WPF, Lua, Python, NoesisGUI, QT, and design patterns (MVC/MVVM)
  • Working knowledge of C# and interest in sports
