Shift Lead Opportunity

This role involves overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing process, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance. You will be responsible for executing the production schedule, leading shift operations, and providing strong people leadership.

  • Execute the production plan to achieve manufacturing targets.
  • Lead and coordinate shift operations, including workforce planning and attendance management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for production personnel.
  • Oversee equipment isolation processes, conduct job safety analyses (JSAs), and lead toolbox talks.
  • Manage and respond to on-shift incidents related to safety, quality, or the environment.
  • Serve as the Site Fire Warden and uphold site security protocols.

This is a crucial role in maintaining safe and efficient operations. As a Shift Manager, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to enhance shift operations.

What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or shift leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of production scheduling, equipment operations, and safety practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and engage teams across shifts.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and plant monitoring/data logging systems.
  • Knowledge of emergency response protocols and site security measures.
  • Competency in JSA facilitation and permit-to-work systems.
  • Trade qualification or tertiary education in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline.
  • Fire Warden and First Aid certification.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
