Job Title: Policy Officer

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Policy Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on various topics, contributing to policy development, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and analysis on economic, financial, and political impacts of reducing emissions and improving domestic waterway safety.
  • Contribute to policy development by investigating and sourcing key information to support decision-making.
  • Assist with ongoing administrative and information management requirements of departmental programs.

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to collate and assess information within specific guidelines to determine an appropriate course of action
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Ability to manage and analyze data to guide decision-making activities
  • Graduates in Law, Science, Chemistry, Policy, Environmental encouraged to apply
  • PASSION FOR CURRENT ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES
