Key Responsibilities- To be successful in this role, you will need strong communication skills and experience working with Aboriginal communities.
- You will also have knowledge of the issues facing Aboriginal families and the ability to work in a culturally sensitive manner.
This role requires collaboration with community members, service providers and other stakeholders to develop and deliver culturally appropriate services.
We are seeking an individual who can provide support and guidance to individuals and families affected by family violence, as well as contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to family violence prevention and response.
The selected candidate will work towards creating a safe and accessible workplace that promotes diversity, inclusion and belonging.
About This RoleThis position is negotiable within the Northern Sector of our health district.
- Develop and implement programs to prevent family violence and promote wellbeing in Aboriginal communities.
- Work with community members, service providers and other stakeholders to develop and deliver culturally appropriate services.
- Provide support and guidance to individuals and families affected by family violence.
- Collaborate with other agencies to ensure a coordinated response to family violence.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to family violence prevention and response.
