Job Opportunity: Cyber Security Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced security professional to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and infrastructure.

About the Role:

You will work closely with our security team to implement and maintain robust security measures that adhere to best practices. Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and maintaining security controls to protect systems and infrastructure.
  • Conducting security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deploy security solutions.
  • Monitoring security systems and responding to security incidents.

You will also contribute to the development of security policies and standard operating procedures, and provide support and guidance to internal teams on security best practices.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in security engineering or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, and network security.
  • Proficiency in AWS products and services.
  • Programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++.

  • Reviewing security logs and alerts to identify potential threats.
  • Collaborating with the security team to analyse security incidents and develop response strategies.
  • Conducting security assessments on new systems and applications.
