Assistant Manager Position

We are seeking a motivated and experienced leader to join our team at House Canteen, a vibrant pan-asian hawker-style venue located beneath the Opera House sails in Sydney.

As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team and creating a stellar service experience for our patrons. You will have a passion for good food, hospitality, and training, with a focus on developing and motivating your team members.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the team and ensuring exceptional customer service quality
  • Managing day-to-day operations of the venue, including opening and closing procedures, back-of-house administration, and banking services
  • Training and developing staff, including rostering and recruitment processes
