Operate Material Handling Equipment

**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our logistics network at Melbourne Airport.

**Responsibilities:**

- Load and unload trucks/containers with a forklift where required in a safe and timely manner
- Receive product accurately
- Unload containers promptly and safely, with effective care of the product at all times
- Pick orders using a forklift as required and as per stated instructions/customer guidelines
- Pack orders as required, focusing on accurate and correct packing
- Dispatch orders as required, using systems and handling data correctly
- Ensure all handovers are accompanied by clear name and signature
- Utilize Radio Frequency (RF) equipment
- Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) to wave orders, print labels, or manifests

**Required Skills & Qualifications**

- Previous experience operating both High Reach and counterbalance forklifts fitted with clamps or standard tynes
- Prior experience using a Pallet Jack
- Background in Logistics/Supply Chain/Freight Forwarding Warehouse, particularly in receiving, dispatch, and stock control
- Familiarity with Material Handling Equipment and Warehouse Management Systems
- Valid Forklift Licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
