Job Summary

The Parts Specialist will be responsible for interpreting and supplying parts to external customers, requiring a strong understanding of material handling equipment and excellent communication skills.

About the Role

This position will assist both the Sales and Service teams by procuring and providing pricing, parts and technical assistance.

  • Interpreting parts for various machines including Forklifts, Skid Steer Loaders, Tow Tugs, EWP's, Excavators, Sweeper/scrubbers
  • Providing pricing, parts & technical assistance to the sales & service teams
  • Handling customer enquiries, identifying parts and dispatching in a timely manner
  • FOLLOWING UP OUTSTANDING QUOTATIONS AND PURCHASE ORDERS
  • SERVICING THE TECHNICIANS' PARTS REQUESTS AS REQUIRED

This role requires excellent attention to detail and ability to analyse data. The ideal candidate will be proactive, have strong customer focus and be able to liaise with customers and staff at all levels.

Requirements

Certificate III in Automotive Sales (desired)

Good knowledge of automotive parts (desired)

Previous experience as a parts interpreter within the material handling industry or similar (desired)

Previous experience with M3 (or SAP similar) systems
