Key Responsibilities:
- Category Strategy: Develop and implement category strategies to continuously expand the customer offering, ensuring an amazing range of high-quality products and a great user experience for our customers.
- Commercial Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities for category expansion, including sourcing and developing new products.
- Supplier Engagement: Engage and source key suppliers in World's best brand and 's Exclusive Brands.
- Logistics and Shipping: Ensure the most efficient logistics, warehousing, and shipping options are chosen for each product.
- Profit Maximization: Maximize profitability of all products through a depth of understanding of your category and the market.
- Inventory Management: Actively manage and monitor inventory levels to achieve company goals and KPIs.
- Promotional Strategy: Drive and control our promotional strategy and price changes across our different sales channels.
Requirements:
- University Degree: University Degree qualified in a relevant field (Commerce, Business, Entrepreneurship, Merchandising, Planning, eCommerce or similar).
- Experience: Experienced as a Category Manager, preferably within an eCommerce, Retail, or FCMG environment.
- Communication Skills: Comfortable building and maintaining effective relationships through exceptional communication and engagement.
- Analytical Skills: Highly analytical and possess commercial nous, being able to recognize opportunity and make quick, impactful decisions for the best commercial outcomes.
- Technical Skills: Tech-savvy and able to use various IT and cloud-based tools to improve efficiency and productivity.
