Job Title: Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Service Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation service in Coffs Harbour. As a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the service, ensuring exceptional standards of care and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise staff within the AOD Programs, ensuring services align with NSW Clinical Care Standards, QIC Accreditation, and organisational policies.
  • Execute the Strategic Plan with a focus on outcome-driven improvements in service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS guidelines, safeguarding practices, and risk management systems.
  • Oversee the delivery of AOD core groups, therapeutic programs, health services, and vocational training through the Skills to Work program.
  • Collaborate with external services to ensure continuity of care and strong community partnerships.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage site operations in partnership with Facilities and Property teams, ensuring the smooth running of site maintenance and kitchen services.
  • Promote team development through supervision, performance reviews, and ongoing training.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Social Science, Community Welfare, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in operations management and team leadership.
  • Expertise in drug and alcohol rehabilitation and mental health, with a background in evidence-based interventions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of community resources including health, mental health, legal assistance, employment services, and housing.
  • WHS knowledge and experience handling complex caseloads.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with data collection systems.
  • A NSW driver's license (unencumbered).
