Senior Governance Specialist

Role Description:

The role of Senior Governance Specialist is to provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of system-wide learning and professional development programs.

This involves coordinating project activities and initiatives to deliver strategic objectives, contributing to the creation and delivery of learning and development initiatives, and developing high-quality training resources.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide expert project management support for the development and implementation of system-wide learning and professional development programs

- Contribute to the design and delivery of learning and development initiatives to build capability across the department on topics such as governance, portfolio, program and project management, risk management, customer complaints and human rights

- Develop engaging and informative training resources to support sustainable capability development

Requirements:

- A strategic thinker who can research, analyse and translate complex information into clear, user-friendly training products

- Proven experience in training design and delivery, with an understanding of effective learning approaches tailored to the audience

- Exceptional writing and communication skills, with a strong ability to engage stakeholders and negotiate

- Excellent attention to detail and coordination skills

- A positive attitude and flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities
