**After Hours Assistant Role**

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an After Hours Administration Assistant. This casual position will involve working closely with our full-time office staff to ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant during evenings and weekends.

  • Tuesday - 5:00pm-8:30pm
  • Wednesday - 5:00pm-8:30pm
  • Friday - 4:00pm-8:00pm
  • Friday - 5:00pm-9:00pm
  • Saturday - 4:00pm-9:00pm
  • Sunday - 4:00pm-9:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Answering phone calls in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Making and altering bookings for customers, ensuring seamless communication
  3. Placing orders for takeaway and delivery customers through our Point of Sale (POS) system
  4. Assisting customers with enquiries regarding functions and events
  5. Confirming upcoming bookings with customers to guarantee accurate information
  6. Creating and printing run sheets for Front of House (FOH) staff to streamline service
  7. Reporting any issues or problems to office staff for prompt resolution
  8. Maintaining a tidy and organized office environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  9. Providing general administrative support as needed, responding to queries and tasks
Essential Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly over the phone
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
  • Able to work independently, taking initiative while seeking guidance when necessary
  • Adaptable and proactive, with effective problem-solving skills
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments, with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Previous experience in customer service or administration is preferred, but not essential
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is highly regarded, but not required
