About Us

We are a charity dedicated to bringing positivity, fun and laughter back into the lives of kids for almost 40 years. Our services and programs are delivered free of charge for kids (0-15) and their families at every stage of the cancer experience.

About the Role

The Events Coordinator will work across one of our biggest WA signature fundraising events, wesCarpade. You will also work closely with community fundraisers to support them in their activities and coordinate with Corporate and Community teams.

  • Drive projects forward with variety and excitement
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with community stakeholders
  • Attend in person the fundraising events you have supported

Requirements and Qualifications

Preferred qualifications and experience include:

  • 2-3 years' experience in event or community coordination / delivery
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders (both community to high end corporate)
  • Training and/or experience using peer-to-peer fundraising platforms, EDM
  • Experience gained within a not-for-profit organisation (highly regarded)
Other Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to use initiative and be proactive - anticipate stakeholder needs and work independently as required
  • Excellent organisational/project management skills, and sound attention to detail
