About the Role

At Citywide, we are seeking a skilled Waste Management Operator to join our team at the Dynon Rd facility. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the facility, including the loading of waste into vehicles for transportation to landfills.

Responsibilities of the Role Include:

  • Operation of Front End Loader and Excavator in our Waste Transfer Station
  • Loading of compaction trailers
  • Safe driving and operation of vehicle
  • Carrying out all daily vehicle checks as per log book requirements
  • Washing vehicle on a daily basis
  • Manually cleaning any spillages

Essential Skills:

  • Front End Loader/Excavator Ticket
  • Current Victorian HC truck licence an advantage
  • Current Victorian High Risk Forklift Licence and advantage
  • Background or demonstrated ability to understand heavy equipment (mechanical & electrical preferred)
  • Pro-Active & agile
  • Committed and Flexible
  • Knowledge of Workplace OH&S requirements
