Your Role

Join a two-year graduate program with four rotations every six months across various teams to develop diverse skills and expertise.

  • Work on projects shaping one of Australia's fastest-growing regions, gaining valuable insights and knowledge.
  • Contribute to areas including Urban Planning, Environment & Sustainability, Integrated Infrastructure, Project Delivery, and Asset Management, enhancing your understanding of complex systems.
  • Collaborate within City Operations, City Futures, and City Administration functional groups, developing essential teamwork and communication skills.
  • Engage in activities such as development application reviews, engineering assessments, master planning, biodiversity initiatives, infrastructure planning, and community asset management, expanding your professional horizons.
About You

We are looking for:

  • Recent graduates or those completing their degree by February 2026 in Engineering or Planning disciplines who possess a positive attitude, reliability, motivation, and ability to work well in a team.
  • Candidates with Engineering degrees may include civil, coastal, drainage, mechanical, environmental, structural, electrical, project management, or mechatronic fields, while Planning degrees may include town planning, urban planning, urban design, urban development, architecture, or transport planning.
  • Applicants should demonstrate alignment with corporate values of Service, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect, and Sustainability.
  • A willingness and ability to work from Strathpine, Caboolture, or Narangba Depot locations is also required.

  • Full-time employment with a starting salary of AUD79,563 per annum plus 12% superannuation, progressing through levels 3 to 5 annually.
  • A 72.5-hour fortnight with a 9-day fortnight schedule (Monday to Friday), offering a healthy work-life balance.

Training & Development

Career Progression
  • Progression through program levels from level 3 to level 5 with annual increments, reflecting career advancement and growth.
  • Experience across multiple teams and projects, preparing candidates for future career opportunities in engineering or planning.
