Senior Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Kitchen Operations Manager to lead our passionate kitchen team in delivering high-quality meals and exceptional service that enhances the wellbeing of our residents.

As a key member of our site's leadership team, you will partner with the Site Operations Director to oversee Hospitality Services, covering food, cleaning, and laundry for our residential care home located at Mt Barker in the beautiful Adelaide Hills.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing food safety, chemical safety, and workplace safety compliance
  • Overseeing stock management, including submission & receipting of purchase orders
  • Preparing menus in collaboration with our dietitian
  • Leading & managing the Hospitality Team, including recruitment, rostering, performance management, and staff training

You will have the tools and the team to make a meaningful impact every day.

Requirements:

  • Experience from a dynamic aged care or healthcare setting
  • Hold a formal qualification in Hospitality Management or Commercial Cookery
  • Certified as a Food Safety Supervisor
  • Driven by a genuine passion for person-centred care
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and grow a cohesive hospitality team
  • Familiar with the IDDSI framework and its practical application
