Chef and Service Manager

As a key member of our site’s leadership team, you will partner with the Site Operations Manager to oversee Hospitality Services. This includes food, cleaning, and laundry for our residential care home located in the beautiful Adelaide Hills.

Our ideal candidate will have experience leading a passionate kitchen team and delivering high-quality meals and service that enhances the wellbeing of our residents. You will lead by example, using your expertise and passion to drive excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across all hospitality functions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring food safety, chemical safety, and workplace safety compliance
  • Overseeing stock management, including submission and receipting of purchase orders
  • Preparing menus in collaboration with our dietitian
  • Leading and managing the Hospitality Team, including recruitment, rostering, performance management, and staff training

The ideal candidate will have experience from a dynamic aged care or healthcare setting and hold a formal qualification in Hospitality Management or Commercial Cookery. They must also be certified as a Food Safety Supervisor and driven by a genuine passion for person-centred care.
