About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our Water team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering complex water infrastructure projects across Australia. Your expertise in design practices for water & wastewater will be highly valued, and you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from water treatment plants to pipelines and pumping stations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and conduct work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Perform work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers, coaching guiding and mentoring across the group.
