About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our Water team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in the delivery of water infrastructure projects across NSW.

About the Opportunity

You will be working on major pipelines, large pumping stations, advanced water, wastewater, and recycling treatment projects. Our Water team offers services across the full water cycle, providing innovative solutions to critical water cycle challenges.

About You

You are a design-focused Principal Mechanical Engineer with significant experience in the design and delivery of water infrastructure projects. You possess a pragmatic approach to developing constructable design solutions and have commercial acumen in the delivery of water infrastructure.

As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will plan, schedule, and conduct work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. You will perform work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.
