Chief Open Source Protection Officer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Security Specialist to protect our open source software from emerging threats. As a key member of our team, you will work with top technology minds to monitor, triage, and respond to new and existing vulnerabilities.
About This RoleThis role is focused on security engineering, where you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify issues, prioritize them, and coordinate remediation. You will have the opportunity to produce security assessments, build features, conduct code reviews, develop internal tools, engage with the open source community, and participate in industry initiatives and events.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor, triage, and respond to new and existing vulnerabilities in open source software.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify issues, prioritize them, and coordinate remediation.
- Produce security assessments, build features, conduct code reviews, develop internal tools, engage with the open source community, and participate in industry initiatives and events.
- You must be able to work independently and as part of a globally distributed team, demonstrating self-discipline and self-motivation.
- International travel may be required for this role, typically two times a year for one week.
