Senior Land Systems Logistician

The role of a Logistics Support Manager is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of land systems, including armoured vehicles, soldier systems, and tactical communications. This individual will lead integrated logistics support, manage spares provisioning, maintenance planning, and lifecycle sustainment to guarantee Defence readiness and contractual compliance.
- Armoured vehicles like ASLAV, M1A1 Abrams, Boxer.
- Soldier and tactical communications systems.
- Ground support and diagnostic equipment.
- Maintenance management systems and spares catalogues.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Manage spares inventory and ensure timely delivery to meet operational requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute maintenance activities.
- Monitor and report on logistics performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements:
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years in integrated logistics support, with 5+ in Defence or related sectors.
- Experience with SCPM, AMPs, and Defence logistics tools.
- Strong knowledge of Defence procurement and contracting.
- Proven ability to lead, influence senior stakeholders, and improve logistics processes.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
