Child Development Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Development Specialist to join our team.

The Role:

  • As a Child Development Specialist, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment that promotes learning and development in children.
  • You will work collaboratively with our team to bring the Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum to life, sparking curiosity and wonder in every child.
  • Provide exceptional care and support to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with families, colleagues, and other stakeholders to build a supportive and inclusive community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality childcare services that meet the needs of each child.
  • To develop and implement activities that promote learning and development in children.
  • To maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • To communicate effectively with parents and carers to keep them informed about their child's daily activities and progress.

Requirements:

  • You hold an approved ACECQA qualification (Certificate III or Higher).
  • You have experience working with children in an early childhood education setting.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You are certified in First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis care.
  • You have a current Working with Children Check and mandatory reporting credentials.
