Remote Area Nursing Opportunity

This temporary nursing position is available in Kowanyama as part of the Remote Area Flexible Agreement (RAFA) trial.

We are seeking Queensland-based nurses interested in a work-life balance option to work remotely in the community under this flexible agreement. The trial involves 6 weeks in community followed by 6 weeks at home.

Cultural experience and knowledge improve patient outcomes, particularly for our Torres Strait Islander patients who make up 70% of our client base.

The Remote Area Flexible Agreement includes:

  • Travel and accommodation costs covered
  • Up to $70,000 relocation benefits for those relocating to remote areas
  • A comprehensive package of professional development opportunities and allowances
