Fixed term temporary part time opportunity to be accountable at an advanced practice level for the design, implementation, and assessment of nursing education programs, managing educational resources and providing nursing expertise related to educational issues across MNMH-RBWH. This role will also contribute to the coordination of educational programs and resources, including the nursing transition support program, ensuring a smooth integration of nurses into clinical practice.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
- Integrate nursing and health care knowledge, skills, and ability by supporting an evidence-based learning environment and participating in learning activities/opportunities for self and others.
- Facilitate the delivery of cost-effective quality consumer/person focused care through the development, implementation and maintenance of education and professional development programs and activities for nursing staff.
- Practice collaboratively with the interprofessional health care team to promote the safety, security and personal integrity of individuals and groups.
