Job Title: Registered Nurse Surgical Ward

Peninsula Private Hospital is seeking a Part-Time, Registered Nurse working within the Surgical Department. Your role will be to deliver excellence in clinical leadership and provide safety and quality to patients and members of the multidisciplinary team.

About The Role
  • This part-time opportunity requires you to work 60 hours per fortnight within our busy Surgical Ward.
  • As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while promoting a safe and supportive environment.
  • You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver excellence in clinical leadership and management of patient care
  2. Provide safety and quality to patients and members of the multidisciplinary team
  3. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve outstanding patient outcomes
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  5. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
Requirements:
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Previous surgical/acute medical and rehabilitation experience required of 3 years or more
  • Demonstrated professional development
  • Demonstrated ability to show initiative and work within a team environment
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
  • Works well independently and within a team
  • Minimum 3 years' experience
  • Advanced Life Support
  • Advanced Paediatric Life support
  • IV Cannulation
