Role Overview

About the Role

The Chief Strategy and Insight Officer will play a pivotal role in shaping an organisation's long-range strategy by leading the development of robust advice to guide decision-making.

This is a senior leadership position that requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills, business acumen and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

Main Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and integrate long-range enterprise strategy and planning frameworks; drive the development of corporate plans; interpret complex data and policy signals to provide authoritative guidance on economic trends and feasibility;
  • Data-Driven Insights: Develop insights to inform strategic messaging and support communication of organisational vision and outcomes; establish and improve enterprise performance measurement and evaluation frameworks;
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and academic communities to publish research contributing to policy debate and establishing thought leadership; partner with agencies to ensure positioning in national policy agendas;
  • Team Leadership: Lead a high-performing team committed to integrity, evidence-based decision-making and public service outcomes; build strategic capability across the organisation by modelling analytical rigour, collaboration and clear direction;
