Job Title

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our indirect tax team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that will involve working closely with clients to shape and enhance their business strategies.

  • This is a hybrid position based in Melbourne, Australia.
  • Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in indirect tax within a professional services accounting firm or law firm.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build and manage client relationships.
  2. Provide leadership and direction to teams up to and including senior managers across multiple activities.
  3. Develop and implement strategies, operating models, processes, and compliance frameworks to manage indirect taxes through the tax lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Substantial indirect tax experience.
  • Strong technical skills in indirect tax, principally in Stamp Duty.
  • Ability to clearly demonstrate leadership skills in regard to market-facing initiatives, client delivery, and staff development.
