Job Opportunity: Senior Tax Professional

Responsibilities:

  • Act as key advisor on indirect tax matters to clients
  • Lead engagements across federal and/or state-based taxes based on expertise
  • Manage and grow client relationships, identifying opportunities to add value
  • Contribute to internal training, development, and team leadership
  • Work cross-functionally with other service lines for seamless client experience
  • Build a pipeline of work through networking and business development efforts
  • Drive thought leadership and elevate the team's market presence

Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of experience in indirect tax (GST or state taxes)
  • Background in professional services, legal, ATO, or state revenue office
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Law, or related discipline
  • Proven ability to advise, manage, and grow client relationships
  • Commercial thinker with strong technical skills
  • Mentor and team leader with a collaborative, professional style
  • Confident communicator with a strong sense of ownership
