Job Title: Cardiac ECHO Sonographer
Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced sonographer to perform cardiac echocardiograms on inpatient and outpatient populations using advanced ultrasound technology.
- Record and archive study images.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance.
- Includes administration duties such as data entry of patient demographics and recording anomalies in patient notes.
- Participate in clinical trials.
- Triaging of request forms and test requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a Diploma of Medical Ultrasound (Cardiac) or equivalent and current ASAR accreditation as a fully qualified sonographer.
Key Responsibilities:- Echocardiographic studies and reporting.
- Effective communication of emergency findings.
- Data transcription and accurate record-keeping.
- Multidisciplinary team collaboration and interpersonal skills.
This is a part-time position for 24 hours per week, fixed-term for 12 months. The salary classification is Cardiac Technologist Grade 2, Year 1-3.
The successful applicant will receive a competitive remuneration package, including superannuation, annual leave loading, and salary packaging options.
