We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team.
This role involves providing exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices.
The successful candidate will support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of excellent standard of evidence-based, person-centered patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with AHPRA professional standards and legislative requirements.
- Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Foster a learning environment through clinical presentations and maintaining own professional learning and continuous professional development.
- Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care.
- Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with colleagues and external partners.
Required Qualifications:
- Current Registration with AHPRA & Working rights in Australia
- 5+ years' experience in an acute surgical or cardiac ward setting
- A degree of exposure and experience in a HDU or ICU setting
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post Graduate Certificate in ICU, HDU, or CCU (or working towards)
