The Reception Services Role encompasses a critical position that provides the first impression of our organisation.

This vital role delivers quality telephone and face-to-face service to clients, the general public, staff and service providers of the Department.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assessing client needs and providing advice on housing options from established policy, procedures and standards.
  • Preparing routine cases with well-established procedures and representing the Department at Victorian Civil Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) hearings.

Selection Criteria: A suitable applicant will possess strong communication skills, a sound understanding of housing policies and procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
