Our organization is seeking an advanced practice professional to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient care within our emergency telehealth service. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and referral of patients as required.
- Functioning in a collaborative telehealth model to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients with the highest level of expertise.
- Providing safe, quality, cost-effective care and practicing within the NP's approved Scope of Practice that aligns with contemporary standards and evidence-based best practices.
This is a unique opportunity to develop, collaborate, and implement innovative service models of care for Emergency Nurse Practitioners within our telehealth environment. This includes:
- Developing relationships with multidisciplinary teams in rural and remote health facilities to support equity in healthcare delivery to patients across the region.
- Working in a mentally stimulating and challenging role, collaborating with diverse health providers in varied environments to implement models of care tailored to individual circumstances.
The ideal candidate will possess a high level of clinical expertise, advanced interpersonal, and communication skills to consult and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert clinical nursing and telehealth support to assist in implementing RSQ Telehealth Nurse Practitioner service models in rural and remote settings.
- Showing understanding and experience working in regional, rural, and remote health service settings.
