Job Overview

As an Environment Release Lead, you will manage releases within nonproduction environments via each delivery phase. This includes postproduction deployment activities such as retrofit planning and execution to ensure continuity in non-production as we move towards a higher degree of automation.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the Release Manager to establish a release pattern and schedule.
  • Establish processes and standards to ensure successful releases.
  • Develop and implement release plans considering dependencies, timelines, and resource requirements to ensure smooth and efficient release processes.
  • Use tools to automate the releases as appropriate to remove dependencies on service teams.
  • Work closely with Programs and Service teams so they understand the run sheet for releases to avoid impacting other projects, and to keep integrated environments up to date.
  • Implement and oversee release quality assurance processes to ensure releases meet the highest standards of reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Establish processes and standards to ensure successful releases.
">Requirements

Experience working in Enterprise Release Management, Implementation Management, and or Environment management across multi-tenant environments and projects.

Technical background with extensive knowledge of Enterprise Release management, Implementation Management, and automated operations across mainframe and distributed environments.

">

Good communicator who enjoys taking initiative to drive outcomes.

">

Knowledge of DevOps pipelines and utilisation of GitLab, Terraform, Urban Code Deploy, Plutora, Delphix or relevant equivalent.

">

Worked within an agile construct and possess and agile working mindset.

">

Proven ability to consider the broader and external organisational issues when planning and making decisions.

">

Good understanding of automated operations concepts, processes, and architectures.

">

Experience using agile tools e.g. JIRA, Confluence.

">

Use of cloud platform technology such as AWS, Azure or GCP.

">
