This is an exciting opportunity to join a critical team that plays a pivotal role in achieving State priorities.
The primary goal of the NSW Crime Commission is to disrupt, reduce and prevent organised and other serious crime in New South Wales. The Commission has a structured approach, comprising several divisions, support teams and specialist units, which work together to achieve this objective.
The Operations Division is responsible for conducting criminal and financial investigations, typically pursuant to a Management Committee reference or approval to work in cooperation with joint task forces comprising partner agencies. This division also provides specialist investigative support services and advice to Government on minimising the impact of serious and organised crime on the community.
In the Strategic Intelligence and Capabilities Portfolio of the Commission's Operations Division, the Senior Policy and Project Governance Officer plays a vital role in the end-to-end development and management of policy and governance for a specific Commission Major Project.
This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance the Commission's capabilities, supporting functions to create a safer New South Wales, and delivering on enhancing the Commission's policy and project management functions.
