Global Economic Strategist Role

We are seeking an experienced Global Economic Strategist to join our International and FX Research team. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of global economics, geopolitics, and financial markets.

The successful candidate will deliver forward-looking analysis and thought leadership to senior stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions across the bank.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and interpret macroeconomic and geopolitical developments across key markets.
  • Develop scenario-based forecasts and risk assessments on trade, capital flows, sanctions, supply chains, and strategic industries.
  • Advise senior leadership on geo-economic risks and opportunities impacting the bank and its clients.
  • Presentation of insights to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in geo-economic analysis, macroeconomics, or strategic planning.
  • Deep understanding of global economic systems and geopolitical dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Proven ability to influence senior decision-makers.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
